CommPartners- Nationwide CLEC Offering Wholesale Hosted VoIP Services

Represented one of the first nationwide CLECs created to provide wholesale VoIP services. Acquired CLEC licenses in 50 states and interconnection agreements nationwide with AT&T, Verizon, Qwest, CenturyLink, Sprint/Embarq, and TDS. Litigated precedential intercarrier compensation case and managed state commission litigation in nine states.

Communications Authority- Arbitration of Interconnection Agreement

Successfully completed arbitration for interconnection agreement against AT&T at Florida Public Service Commission. Case involved 66 discrete issues, many of which had never been addressed by any state commission in an ICA arbitration. For more info see, the commission website under Docket 140156-T.

DSLExtreme- Litigation of Formal Complaint at California PUC

Litigated formal complaint against Verizon regarding unfair competition in the purchase and provision of DSL transport services to DSLExtreme, one of the largest independent ISPs in the country. Resulted in a favorable settlement for the client.

New Frontiers Telecommunications- Litigation of Formal Complaint at Maryland PSC

Litigated formal complaint against Verizon for inaccurate billing. Verizon alleged client owed almost $2 million. Resulted in favorable settlement for client for less than a third of the claimed amount and reasonable payment terms.
